Event Description:


The Ozaukee County Historical Society and the 1st Allied Airborne Living History re-enactment group present WWII - "The Falaise Gap: An Army on the Run". Ozaukee County Pioneer Village will be transformed into the European countryside where the Allied Forces invade Germany.  See battles at 11:00AM, 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. There will be a special memorial exhibit honoring the 55 Ozaukee County servicemen who lost their lives in WWII. Various demonstrations of uniforms, weaponry and military vehicles will be shown. The day closes with Taps and USO-Style Swing Dance Party featuring Milwaukee's own Swing Nouveau. Food and beverages will be available throughout the day and evening.

$10 Adults, $8 Students/Seniors $5 Veterans/Children 12 & Under, WWII Veterans and OCHS Members are Free-Wrist band issued to attend the dance at no charge.
