Event Description:
The Grafton School District will hold a 4K Information and Registration Night on Thursday, January 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Woodview Elementary Gym - 600 5th Avenue.

Parents of prospective 4K students at both of the district’s elementary schools (Kennedy and Woodview) are invited to attend to learn about Grafton’s play-based 4K philosophy, see what a typical day in 4K looks like, and learn the benefits of 4K enrollment in the Grafton School District.

Following the presentation, prospective families will have the opportunity to ask questions, meet 4K staff members and other District personnel, and register for the 4K program. Representatives from local child care organizations will also be present to provide information about wrap-around care.

Registration will also continue through Friday, February 8 from 8:30 am to 4:00pm on week days at both elementary schools. Prospective 5K students who are not currently enrolled in the Grafton schools may also register for the 2019-2020 school year during this registration window.

Children registering for four-year-old kindergarten must be four years of age on or before September 1, 2019. Children registering for five-year-old kindergarten must be five years of age on or before September 1, 2019.

Parents should bring the following information to registration: child’s original birth certificate for verification of name and birth date (state law requires the original certificate, not a copy), proof of residency, and immunization records.

Enrollment forms will be made available on the district site after January 1.
